Build-a-Bot with Daken
2024 Little Street Art Festival artist Jay ‘Daken’ Skelton has been busy populating the city with his colourful ‘bots’ — we love them, so we thought let’s all make a bot! Daken has created a rad template for you to decorate and construct your own bot — and we want you to find them a home somewhere, take a picture and tag us in your post (don’t forget to give your bot a name!) - download the template below and watch Daken’s instructional video for tips.

The Art Of Banksy x Little Street Art Festival Tours
With the hugely anticipated Art of Banksy exhibition coming to Christchurch, we’ve teamed up with Te Pae to create a special display celebrating the history of local street art. Featuring archival images and works by some of the city’s most notable artists, it offers a glimpse into the street-level gallery that exists right in our own backyard — and one we encourage you to explore beyond the walls of the exhibition.
The display includes the Little Street Art Festival’s own Graf Bot by Yeah Creative, alongside Sam Emerson’s digital projection Sediment Record – 2003 CE, which reframes contemporary protest art as an excavated relic, suggesting street art is not just a temporary intervention, but a cultural record.
As part of this collaboration, we’ll also be running scheduled Little Street Art Festival tours, available as a discounted add-on to Art of Banksy tickets.
